Orangery Extension - Marrowells, Chelmsford CM2

Jayne and Dominic tasked us with designing a large side extension in a style to compliment their large Victorian property, in order to extend their kitchen/living/dining areas. After reviewing different options we decided that a traditional orangery design would be the most appropriate was to achieve the large amount of floor area and also glazing that they required, in a style that would still sit well with their Victorian home. The project turned out fantastically well, with a huge space achieved and towering lantern rooflights overhead providing a sense of vast ceiling height, and the large amount of glazing floods light into the open plan spaces. The project is spectacular both inside and out, with Jayne having carried out the spectacular interior design work, as this is her profession. The project also featured in Kitchens Bedrooms & Bathrooms Magazine, which was a lovely acknowledgement for all involved. Most importantly, the project met and exceeded all expectations, and the Webster family adore their much improved and enlarged living spaces.
